1. Design and Layout:
Develop creative and innovative floor plans, displays, and arrangements that effectively showcase the features and benefits of products. Utilize design principles such as balance, rhythm, proportion, and emphasis to create visually appealing setups.
2. Product Presentation:
Ensure products are displayed in an enticing and organized manner that aligns with our brand aesthetic. Arrange fixtures, décor items, and accessories to create aspirational living spaces that resonate with our target audience.
3. Visual Communication:
Collaborate with the VM principal team to seamlessly integrate branding elements, promotional materials, educational infographics and messaging into visual displays. Maintain brand consistency across merchandising efforts through strategic in-store communications.
4. Timeline & Inventory Management:
Adhere to timelines for campaign launches, store openings, and seasonal changes. Monitor inventory levels and product availability to ensure sufficient stock for displays. Coordinate with the store team to replenish merchandise as needed, ensuring products are readily available for showcasing.
5. Store Layout Optimization:
Analyze customer traffic patterns and behaviour to optimize store layout and display placement. Implement adjustments such as lighting to enhance visibility, and the overall shopping experience.
6. Maintenance and Presentation Standards:
Conduct regular inspections of product displays to uphold cleanliness, tidiness, and visual appeal. Ensure all displays adhere to HOOGA standards and brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent aesthetic throughout the store.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Retail Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in visual merchandising or retail display, preferably in home living, lifestyle, or fashion retail.
3. Strong understanding of visual design principles such as balance, proportion, rhythm, and emphasis.
4. Proficient in planning store layouts, styling product presentations, and executing seasonal merchandising setups.
5. Knowledge of retail operations and inventory coordination to support campaign rollouts and store readiness.
6. Eye for detail, with a passion for creating inspiring and aspirational visual displays that align with brand identity.
7. Able to work both independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
8. Basic proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) or visual planning tools is a plus.
9. Willingness to travel between store locations and perform hands-on merchandising tasks.
10. Physically fit and comfortable with tasks involving display setup, lifting, and store walkthroughs.
