Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess strong technical skills in video editing and post-production. This role involves collaborating with various departments to create engaging video content that aligns with our brand's vision and objectives.
Duties
- Edit raw video footage into polished final products that meet project specifications and deadlines.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and creative direction.
- Utilise Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Bridge, to enhance video quality and add effects.
- Manage post-production tasks such as color correction, sound editing, and incorporating graphics or animations.
- Conduct videography for various projects as needed, ensuring high-quality footage is captured.
- Organize and maintain video files using FTP for efficient access and collaboration.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in video editing and 3D animation to continuously improve skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and the broader Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of post-production processes, including color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects.
- Experience with videography techniques to capture high-quality footage.
- Familiarity with 3D animation tools like Maya is a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset to bring innovative ideas to life.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
