Internship Role
As a Trainee Counsellor Intern, you will:
- Observe and support therapy sessions under licensed counsellors/clinical psychologists.
- Assist in client intake, assessments, and progress documentation.
- Prepare therapy notes and assist with administrative tasks related to counselling.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Contribute to mental health awareness programs, workshops, or group sessions.
- Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all client-related matters.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor/Master of Counselling or Clinical Psychology.
- Strong interest in professional counselling and client care.
- Good communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, ethical, and open to supervision and feedback.
- Able to commit to an internship duration of atleast 6 months
