1. Work as a part of a team in maintaining the facility building assets.
2. Receive work orders and coordinate work to fit daily schedule assigned by the Lead Technician.
3. Estimate time and materials required on work orders.
4. Assist in the supervision and inspection of subcontracted work.
5. Maintain the facility heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related control systems.
6. Respond to calls from facility departments requesting immediate assistance for heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration problems.
7. Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment assigned by the Lead Technician. 8. Have necessary stock and tools to maintain, repair, or replace malfunctioning equipment.
9. Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean and orderly condition following all prescribed regulations.
10. Coordinate with other departmental employees on diversified work projects.
11. Install air conditioning, refrigeration, temperature, humidity control systems and accessories.
12. Make daily rounds of building and related equipment as assigned by Lead Technician. 13. Respond to emergency call-in situations.
14. Cooperate with members of the department and facility on all emergency conditions regarding visitor and staff safety.
15. Report any complications on specific jobs or equipment. Consult HVAC Lead Technician if unsure of action to take.
16. Other duties as reasonably requested from time to time
