Job Description
Job Summary:
The Sputter Process Technician is responsible for executing process characterization activities, ensuring sputter process meets key performance parameters, and supporting production through process monitoring and adjustments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform process characterization for sputter equipment and materials.
- Conduct buy-off by verifying key process input variables (KPIV), including pressure, temperature, and voltage.
- Perform measurements and data collection for characterization samples.
- Monitor key process output variables (KPOV) during production to ensure process stability and product quality.
- Perform process adjustments as needed to maintain specifications and resolve deviations.
- Assist in troubleshooting process and equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of process parameters, test results, and adjustments.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and cleanroom protocols at all times.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Diploma or certificate in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.
- At least 0-3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or sputter process operations is an advantage.
SKILLS:
- Knowledge of process control parameters and measurement techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
