We are hiring
We are looking for a motivated System Engineer Intern to join BigPay’s Sysadmin team. This team is responsible for managing and supporting the technology that end-users interact with daily, including hardware, software, and related services. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in IT operations, user support, system administration, and project work, while being guided by experienced team members.
This internship is designed to provide exposure to real-world IT environments, allowing you to take ownership of meaningful projects, build technical expertise, and develop transferable skills for your career.
About the job
1. Learn and assist in managing end-user computing environments, including hardware, software, and access management.
2. Support day-to-day IT operations such as:
Laptop and user provisioning.
Password resets, privilege changes, and user access requests.
Monitoring and managing the Sysadmin Service Request queue via Jira.
3. Shadow senior engineers to gain hands-on experience in incident handling and troubleshooting.
4. Participate in onboarding and offboarding activities (user provisioning and exit access revocation).
5. Assist with BAU (Business-as-Usual) activities and technical support tasks.
6. Exposure to the fast-paced fintech environment

To be successful
Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware/software troubleshooting, and user support.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and processes in a fast-paced environment.
Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Passion for technology, with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
