Job Descriptions:
- Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment for orthopaedic trauma procedures.
- Ensure all instruments are properly sterilized, functional, and available prior to surgery.
- Maintain a sterile field during operations and anticipate the surgeon’s needs.
- Assist in positioning and draping patients in accordance with surgical protocols.
- Hand instruments and materials to the surgeon during procedures.
- Perform counts of instruments and supplies before and after surgeries to ensure no items are retained.
- Support in post-operative clean-up and proper handling of instruments for reprocessing.
- Adhere strictly to infection control and hospital safety guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of surgical procedures and instrument usage.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Nursing, Medical Assistant, or related healthcare field.
- Prior experience in operating theatre settings, especially in orthopaedics, is highly preferred.
- Fresh graduates with clinical attachments in OT settings are welcome to apply.
- Good physical stamina and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
- Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical protocols.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and detail-focused.
- Able to communicate in English and Bahasa (Additional language is a bonus)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
