Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable Store Assistant with a valid forklift license to join our store team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming goods and materials, checking for damage and verifying quantities.
- Accurately store products in designated locations within the warehouse using manual or forklift handling as required.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to delivery schedules and quality standards.
- Operate a forklift (counterbalance/reach truck/pallet jack) safely and in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through stock counts, system updates, and documentation.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of goods from vehicles.
- Keep the store area clean, organized, and hazard-free at all times.
- Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or safety issues to supervisors.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and participate in training sessions when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience as a Store Assistant, Warehouse Worker, or similar role.
- Valid forklift operator’s license (required).
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy items.
- Familiarity with warehouse and store practices, inventory software, or stock control systems is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail, time management, and teamwork skills.
- Willing to work overtime or shifts if required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
