Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to support the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) in managing the bank’s AML/CFT and sanctions risk. This role is crucial in ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining effective internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the MLRO in identifying and escalating AML/CFT and sanctions risks.
- Conduct regular AML/CFT risk assessments and recommend improvements.
- Develop and update relevant AML/CFT policies, procedures, and processes.
- Oversee AML Operations on eKYC, transaction monitoring, and due diligence alerts.
- Provide advisory support and perform quality assurance reviews.
- Investigate high-risk alerts and determine the need for regulatory reporting.
- Maintain incident logs and analyze monitoring effectiveness.
- Liaise with regulators on AML/CFT matters.
- Assist in developing and delivering AML/CFT training programs.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field; AML/CFT certification preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in compliance or AML/CFT roles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent time management, detail-focused, and works well under pressure.
- Adaptable and driven, with a desire to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Upholds integrity and professionalism in all aspects of work.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
