Solution Architect
Location: Hybrid – Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Contract: 1 month full-time + ad hoc (up to 3 years)
Nationality: Malaysian only
We’re looking for a Solution Architect to support the early phase of a transformation project in the payments/e-commerce domain. Initial engagement is for 1 month full-time, with potential for ad hoc work throughout the project (up to 3 years total).
Responsibilities:
- Design high-level architecture aligned with business goals
- Evaluate technologies for scalability, security, and integration
- Collaborate with business and tech teams on architecture decisions
- Define patterns for cloud infrastructure and enterprise integration
Required Skills:
- Experience with:
- N-Tier, Microservices, Event-Driven, Serverless, MVC, SOA
- Background in ticketing, payments, e-commerce, travel, or ride-hailing
- Strong cloud infrastructure and system integration knowledge
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
The ideal candidate can translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and has experience in consumer-facing platforms. Hybrid model – partial on-site work in Petaling Jaya required.
