The Social Media Executive is responsible for owning and executing the brand daily presence across all digital platforms. This includes:
- Posting content on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms as scheduled.
- Translating campaign ideas from the content strategist into posts and stories.
- Writing or editing captions that align with the brand voice, tone, and campaign goals.
- Following up with the team to collect creative assets needed for posting.
- Replying to DMs, comments, and story replies professionally and promptly.
- Monitoring platform trends, hashtags, and viral sounds for brand relevance.
- Track and analyze reach, views, and engagement using built-in platform tools.
- Reporting insights and suggesting weekly optimizations based on audience behavior.
- Supporting live content coverage (events, shoots, launches).
- Ensuring timely execution of daily Stories and quick-turn content tasks.
Requirements
- 1-2 year of experience managing social media for brands (fashion)
- Familiar with Instagram & TikTok platform functions (posting, stories, DMs)
- Proficient in using Canva and IG native editing tools.
- Familiar with social media KPIs (reach, saves, engagement, DMs)
- Ability to write captions that match the brands tone (modern, poetic, local flair)
- Understands platform algorithms and knows how to optimize for reach
- Highly organized — able to manage calendars, timelines, and team flow
- Passion for branding, culture, and community storytelling
- Experience in a festive campaign or brand activation
- Personal experience as a content creator
- Interested in fashion, retail, or cultural storytelling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
