Role:
You will lead and execute social media strategies to grow brand awareness, engagement, and organic lead generation. This includes content creation, platform management, and close collaboration with the sales and content teams.
This role requires professional-level Chinese copywriting — not just fluency, but the ability to craft clear, persuasive, and emotionally engaging marketing content. You’ll be creating scripts, social posts, and product messaging that go beyond translation — content that speaks to the audience and drives action.

Responsibilities
Content Marketing:
- Plan and develop a comprehensive content calendar for social media platforms in alignment with marketing objectives and audience insights, including competitor research and analysis.
- Conduct in-depth content research and draft briefs that align with the company’s messaging and tone.
- Create visually appealing, engaging, and high-quality content — including graphics, videos, infographics, blog posts, etc.
- Publish a minimum of 3 posts per week across multiple platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc).
- Use content to attract potential customers and generate quality leads for the sales team.
- Monitor content performance and engagement, and adapt strategies based on data to improve outcomes.
- Monitor and respond to comments, reviews, and feedback within 2 working days to maintain a positive brand image.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop a variety of marketing materials and campaign ideas.
Email Marketing:
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, engage with prospects, grow the email list.
- Design visually appealing email templates and write compelling copy to maximize open rates, click-through rates and engagement reply rates.
- Implement and monitor email campaign performance metrics and analyze data to refine future email marketing strategies.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOP):
- Devise and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) monthly for social media activities, including content creation, graphic design, video editing etc.
Monthly Reporting:
- Track social media metrics and KPIs to evaluate past performance and make future recommendations;
- - Summary of the key accomplishments, and milestones reached during the month.- Identification of any challenges or obstacles faced and how they were addressed.- Lessons learned and recommendations for improving future performance.Report all platforms on monthly metrics as follows, using Month-over-month (MoM) in term of percentage and number growth:1. Sales Revenue Generated2. Social Media Follower Growth3. Organic Marketing Lead Generation (Monitor number of quality leads etc)4. Social Media Engagement Rate (shares, saves, likes, view time etc)
- Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in social and video content development (portfolio required).
- Strong video editing and graphic design skills (portfolio required).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, remote environment.
- Self-motivated, independent, and reliable — strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platform algorithms and best practices (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Xiaohongshu, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese — with the ability to create engaging content across platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret social media data and make data-driven decisions.
- Creative thinker who can propose out-of-the-box social media ideas.
- Experience in regulated or service-based industries is a bonus.
