Key Responsibilities:
1. Beverage Preparation & Stock Management
- Brew different types of tea (oolong, jasmine, etc.).
- Prepare milk tea, fruit tea, and specialty drink.
- Operate tea brewing equipment, shakers, and blenders.
- Adjust sweetness and ice levels based on customer preferences.
- Maintain consistency in beverage quality and taste.
- Monitor and restock tea leaves, syrups, milk, pearls (boba), and other ingredients.
- Ensure freshness and proper storage of ingredients.
2. Customer Service
- Greet customers and take orders.
- Recommend tea flavors and toppings based on customer preferences.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally.
- Provide information about tea origins, brewing methods, and health benefits.
4. Equipment Maintenance & Common Area Cleaning
- Maintain and clean tea brewing machines, shakers, sealing machines, and blenders.
- Follow hygiene and safety standards in beverage preparation.
- Keep the workstation and the common area clean and organized.
5. Cashiering & Order Processing
- Process customer payments via cash, or e-wallet.
- Operate the POS system efficiently.
- Manage order flow to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
6. Topping & Customization Handling
- Prepare and add toppings such as boba pearls, pudding, etc.
- Ensure proper texture and quality of boba and other toppings.
- Adjust drink specifications (sugar level, ice level, and size) as per customer requests.
7. Teamwork & Efficiency
- Work closely with the other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in packaging and takeout orders during peak hours.
Job Requirements:
- Prior experience as a barista, tea barista, or in F&B service is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of tea types, brewing techniques, and beverage preparation (preferred but not required, as training will be provided)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and recommend drinks to customers.
- Good time management and multitasking skills, especially during peak hours.
- Ability to customize beverages based on customer preferences (adjusting sugar levels, ice levels, and adding toppings).
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, stored properly, and well-stocked.
