Due to the rapid expansion of our business across SEA, we are seeking a Senior Risk Analyst/Risk Lead to help us strengthen the risk function specifically for the new and growing markets. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk strategies, conducting fraud investigations, and coordinating with the Functional Office.
If you are interested in applying for this position, you should have a relevant educational background and several years of experience in risk management, fraud investigations, and anti-fraud compliance. Strong analytical skills, familiarity with data analysis tools, and the ability to work with large datasets are also important. Additionally, effective communication and teamwork skills are necessary for this role. Fluency in English is required, and fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin is essential for working with the Functional Department.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate with the Malaysia Anti-Fraud Team and the Functional Office to develop risk strategies and conduct fraud investigations.
- Collaborate with the Functional Office to implement anti-fraud measures and controls specific for all SEA markets
- Implement an Operational Risk framework, monitoring risk metrics for SEA, and developing market-specific risk controls.
- Lead and drive standardization, automation, and consolidation through process improvement initiatives across SEA.
- Identify and track Key Risk Indicators to support strategy testing environments and daily operations across SEA.
- Ensure effective disaster recovery for fraud incidents for all SEA markets.
- Create strategies to detect and enforce risk policies for all SEA markets.
- Review strategies with regional and local operations for SEA markets and the Functional Office to ensure appropriate thresholds are set.
- Develop ad-hoc strategies to detect and mitigate monetary losses for the SEA markets.

- Mandarin speakers are preferred as this role will be working closely with Hong Kong and China counterparts.

- Desire to continually learn, adapt and work in a fun, fast-paced environment
What you’ll need
- Bachelor's degree or higher, with a preference for those with working experience in Trust & Safety/Risk Management.
- 4+ years of experience in Risk, Trust & Safety, Fraud investigations, and Anti-fraud compliance/management.
