Investigation and Special Review Planning
- Undertake detailed investigation planning of the allocated assignment.
- Prepare the investigation direction and steps of the allocated assignment.
- Assign specific tasks for each team member.
- Liaise with the audit client on all required arrangements (entry, fieldwork, exit and reporting).
Investigation and Special Review Fieldwork
- Ensure effective and efficient execution of the investigation fieldwork in compliance with the department’s audit methodology and processes through coaching and mentoring of the team members.
- Undertake investigation of specific case and prepare/gather related supporting documents/evidences to support reported findings.
- Review supporting documents/evidences gathered by team members and provide necessary feedback and clarification points to enhance the standard of work done and documented.
- Provide progressive updates to Head Investigation on the status of the ongoing investigation works.
Investigation and Special Reviews Monitoring
- Review, discuss findings and draft investigation report with the team members to ensure the reported cases are properly investigated and to enhance the report to effectively communicate the findings and recommendations.
Personnel Development
- Review the performance of the team members after every assignment.
- Provide on the job training.
- Provide feedback to Head Investigation on development needs of each team member for formulation of suitable development.
- Promote a high performing culture of the teams.
Others
- Assist Head of Unit in consulting assignment.
- Assist Head of Unit in Projects and assignments as and when assigned by Head of Division/CIA.
- Assist the related Departments for the disciplinary process as and when required based on the instruction of Head of Division/CIA.
Job Requirement:
Level of Education
- Bachelor's Degree or other professional qualifications equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, process engineering, business admin or other related fields.
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience in internal auditing, process design or assurance, transformation, accounting or other related fields.

- Good communicative and writing ability in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
