You will:
Production Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end management of large-scale, multi-day, multi-location video productions—from concept to delivery—ensuring strategic alignment, timely execution, and budget control.
- Translate briefs into actionable production plans with clearly defined deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget allocations.
- Develop and maintain detailed production schedules covering pre-production, shoot logistics, localization, and post-production phases.
- Plan for and coordinate simultaneous localization across languages, talents, and markets.
Vendor & On-Ground Production Management
- Source, negotiate, and manage third-party vendors, including production crews, DOPs, casting agencies, post-production houses, and legal consultants.
- Ensure vendor compliance with local regulations, legal documentation (e.g., permits, NDAs, release forms), and production quality standards.
- Oversee shoot logistics, including location scouting and booking, catering, talent coordination, insurance, and equipment setup.
Manage vendor invoicing, contract agreements, and payment tracking. - Build and maintain a reliable network of vendors in key production hubs (mainly Malaysia and Cyprus) for offline needs and global freelancers for remote support.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for the content production team, managing incoming requests and ensuring alignment and expectation management across internal stakeholders (writers, designers, planners, compliance, and video teams).
- Ensure creative intent is preserved while offering practical production solutions when constraints arise.
- Prepare and deliver regular production briefings, updates, and post-project reports to relevant stakeholders.
Risk & Compliance Management
- Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance across all production activities, including acquiring permits, contracts, and talent/location releases.
- Proactively identify and mitigate production risks (e.g., weather, delays, vendor issues, last-minute location changes) to maintain smooth execution.
- Respond swiftly and professionally to unforeseen disruptions during pre-production, shoot, or post-production.
Post-Production Oversight
- Oversee post-production workflows, ensuring timelines are met and final outputs align with creative and technical requirements.
- Manage feedback loops with stakeholders, consolidating input for efficient revision rounds.
- Supervise content versioning and localization (e.g., multiple languages, regional talent variations) for internal and external distribution.
- Ensure all final deliverables meet quality standards before handover.
What makes you a great fit:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Media Production, Film, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, including at least 5 years in professional video production and 3 years in a senior producer role
- Proven track record managing large-scale, commercial-style productions
Established network of reliable vendors (production crew, DOPs, casting, post-production, motion designer, freelancers, etc.) - Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Google Sheets, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of production legalities and local compliance requirements
- Familiarity with post-production workflows (editing, sound, motion graphics, localization
- Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and budgeting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a collaborative attitude
