About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead and coordinate Agile Scrum processes across the organization, ensuring smooth collaboration and the timely delivery of high-quality solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, especially product development, to meet goals on schedule, within budget, and with consistent quality.
As a coach and mentor, you’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement and support the team in achieving its full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Guide and coach the team on Agile Scrum principles and best practices
- Work closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize the product backlog
- Identify and resolve impediments that impact delivery timelines
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops
- Track team performance using Agile metrics and KPIs
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues effectively to all stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to the Scrum framework and Agile values
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4–6 years of relevant industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years working as a Scrum Master
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira or Trello
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- SAFe or Kanban certification is a plus
- General understanding of software development concepts and basic DB querying
- Experience working with cross-functional and remote teams
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
