The Sales & Marketing Executive is responsible for promoting the hotel’s services and facilities to maximize revenue. This includes identifying business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and executing marketing strategies to attract guests and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the corporate, travel agent, government, and group segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Conduct hotel site visits and presentations for potential clients.
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns (online and offline) to promote the hotel.
- Manage hotel’s social media platforms, website content, and online presence.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions to increase brand visibility.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and follow-up on leads.
- Monitor competitors’ pricing and marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with operations, front office, and banquet teams for smooth event execution.
- Track sales targets and submit reports on sales activities and marketing performance.
- Support in managing OTA (Online Travel Agent) listings and hotel promotions.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of sales or marketing experience (hotel industry preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (other languages is a plus).
- Familiar with digital marketing, social media, and graphic design tools is an advantage.
- Result-driven, creative, and able to work independently.
- Willing to travel locally and attend events if required.
- Possess own transport is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
