Responsibilities
Market Expansion– Target Penang and northern Malaysia; win new customers in semiconductors, EMS and automotive electronics; craft regional sales strategy.
Account Management– Build the client network from scratch, uncover data-capture pain points, deliver tailored solutions and hit quarterly / annual targets.
Solution Selling– End-to-end sales of barcode printers, RFID/labels, mobile computers and custom software (demo, quote, negotiate, deliver).
Cross-function– Work with tech team to turn client needs into executable proposals.
Market Intel– Track Industry 4.0 trends, monitor competitors and refine local tactics.
Requirements
At least 5 years experience in B2B sales in electronics manufacturing (PCB, IC packaging/test) or IoT hardware / industrial software.
Network– Direct access to decision makers (procurement / IT / supply-chain).
Tech Savvy– Grasp how data-capture tech solves traceability, WMS and equipment-monitoring challenges.
Fluent in Mandarin, English (technical writing & negotiation) and Bahasa Malaysia
