Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
- Required skills: Sales Management, Event Planning, Budget Management, Negotiation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Development, Market Analysis, Team Leadership
- Language required: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
- Minimum 3 years’ sales experience in events, hospitality, or related industries, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
- Proven ability to achieve personal and team sales targets.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service and experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for client events and meetings.
- Results-driven with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives.
Responsibility
- Sales Strategy & Business Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets for event spaces and services.
- Identify and pursue high-value business opportunities through networking, partnerships, and market research.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Set clear performance objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Foster a results-driven, customer-focused, and collaborative team culture.
- Key Account & Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key corporate and high-profile clients, acting as the primary point of escalation for major accounts.
- Oversee client consultations to ensure needs are fully understood and addressed through tailored event solutions.
- Collaboration & Event Delivery Oversight: Work closely with the event operations, planning, and catering teams to ensure seamless event execution.
- Maintain oversight of the event pipeline, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service for all booked events.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
