Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and approach potential customers such as wholesalers, retailers, food manufacturers, and food service providers.
- Promote and sell sauce paste, jam paste, and other product lines to new and existing customers.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable products.
- Develop and maintain long-term business relationships.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and product samples.
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and quotations.
- Process orders and coordinate with the operations and logistics team for timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular reports to management.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events as required.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirements:Education:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in food product sales, especially in sauces, jams, or processed foods.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- Good understanding of food products and market dynamics.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Other Requirements:
- Possess own transport and valid driving license.
- Willing to travel to meet clients and attend events.
Preferred:
- Experience dealing with foodservice, HORECA, or FMCG clients.
- Knowledge of halal certification and food safety regulations (advantageous).
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
