Responsibilities:
- Manage various types of Rotating Equipment, including pumps, compressors, mixers, fans, and engines.
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for mechanical seals, pumps, compressors, and cooling fans.
- Follow safety protocols for all maintenance work, adhering to procedures and specifications.
- Conduct monthly preventive maintenance, inspections, and maintain repair records.
- Utilize technical documentation, measurements, and tools during maintenance activities.
- Collaborate within a team, maintaining good housekeeping and adherence to safety practices.
- Maintain a daily log sheet of work and progress, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Participate in company-organized trainings for safety and technical knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Preferably 2-3 years’ experience in Rotating Equipment service & maintenance
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Familiar with handling precision tools such as caliper and micrometers
- Able to read & interpret P&ID
- Possess good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Fit to perform work inclusive of working at height, confined space and using air supplied breathing equipment when necessary.
- Any vocational qualification is an advantage
- Willing to be based in Port Dickson.
