About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Retreat Landscape Gardener to join our team at THE HOOTON RETREAT SDN. BHD. in Pertang, Negeri Sembilan. This is a full-time position that will involve maintaining and enhancing the beautiful landscaping of our prestigious retreat. As the Retreat Landscape Gardener, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our outdoor spaces are meticulously cared for and serve as an inviting and relaxing environment for our guests.
What you'll be doing
- Maintaining the health and appearance of lawns, gardens, flowerbeds, and other landscaped areas
- Planting, pruning, and caring for a variety of trees, shrubs, and other plants
- Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems
- Ensuring the retreat's pathways, seating areas, and other outdoor features are clean and well-kept
- Collaborating with the broader operations team to identify and implement improvements to the landscaping
- Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
What we're looking for
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a landscape gardener or similar role
- Strong working knowledge of horticulture, landscaping techniques, and the care of a variety of plants
- Proficient in the use of landscaping tools and equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for creating beautiful, sustainable outdoor spaces
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
