Main Responsibilities:
Customer Service
- Welcome and assist walk-in customers
- Understand customer needs and suggest suitable products (e.g., tools, fasteners, plumbing items)
- Give product demos or explain how items work when needed
Product Knowledge
- Know hardware/building materials well
- Stay updated on product details and stock
- Advise on options, pricing, and availability
Sales
- Achieve personal and store sales goals
- Recommend related products to boost sales
- Record sales using POS or CRM systems
Stock Support
- Check and refill shelf stock
- Inform team about low or fast-selling items
After-Sales Service
- Handle returns, exchanges, and simple product issues
- Follow up on pending orders or deliveries
Teamwork
- Work with warehouse, delivery, and purchasing teams
- Share customer feedback to help improve service and stock
Key Skills:
- Good communication and listening
- Basic product knowledge (hardware/building materials)
- Problem-solving mindset
- Able to manage time and multitask
- Basic tech skills (POS, inventory systems, messaging apps)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Contract, Fresh graduate
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
Expected hours: 35 per week
