Patient Care : Residents provide direct patient care under the supervision of attending physicians. This includes performing history and physical examinations, developing assessment and treatment plans, and participating in rounds.
Medical Procedures : Residents learn and perform a variety of medical procedures, such as suturing, inserting IV lines, and conducting basic diagnostic tests.
Record Keeping : Residents maintain detailed patient records, including progress notes, admission notes, and discharge summaries.
Patient Education : Residents educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Collaboration : Residents work closely with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses, medical assistant, pharmacists, and clinic assistant, to provide comprehensive patient care.
Research and Learning : Residents participate in research projects and attend seminars and conferences to expand their knowledge and skills.
Emergency Care : Residents may be involved in emergency care and may be called upon to attend to patients in emergencies.
Wound care : Experienced in wound care will be an advantage. Training provided.
Scanning : Able to do scan (gynae or other scan)
Requirement
- Female doctor
- Registered with MMC with valid APC and indemnity insurance
- Working experience 3-4 years
- 180 hours (compulsory - basic pay) + 10 hours ( locum - separate pay)
