Job Requirements :
- Minimum SPM with at least 5 years experience in related field or Diploma/ Certificate in Chemical/ Engineering.
- Good Laboratory skills in operation GC, DSC, Spectrophotometer, etc.
- Experience in scheduled waste-related, data analysis, and ISO knowledge is preferable.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and computer literate.
- Able to communicate with team members and for recording information in both written and verbal.
- Able to work well with others as part of a team.
- Able to note any unusual or unexpected results observed during an analysis.
- Able to work on multiple tasks and at the same time must prioritize their assignment.
- Ability to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects.
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time during the test.
Job Responsibility :
- Carry out analytical tests in the laboratory per approved methods
- Ensure that all test results and calculations are in order before report submission
- Review, question and repeat results if suspicious results are encountered
- Prepare test solutions when necessary
- Ensuring all laboratory instrument/ equipment is well maintained via routine maintenance and calibration
- Upkeep the cleanliness and safety of work areas including the apparatus and instrument/ equipment
- Carry out any ad hoc task when assigned
- Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards
- Recommend measures for continual improvement on process and product quality
