Key Responsibilities:
- Hydrotest Planning & Execution
- Review test packages, drawings, and specifications to prepare for hydrostatic and pneumatic testing.
- Supervise line cleaning, flushing, and test preparation activities.
- Ensure proper identification of system limits and readiness for pressure testing.
- Quality Assurance & Control
- Monitor testing procedures to ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.
- Interface with client QA representatives during inspections and testing.
- Review and approve inspection and test plans (ITPs), welding procedures, and quality documentation.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of test results, punch lists, and corrective actions.
- Prepare technical reports and submit outstanding item lists for resolution.
- Ensure proper documentation of completed hydrotests for client handover.
- Team Coordination
- Guide and supervise hydrotest crews and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with piping, instrumentation, and electrical teams for system readiness.
- Collaborate with construction managers to align testing schedules with project milestones.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety protocols during pressure testing activities.
- Ensure environmental and regulatory standards are met throughout the testing process.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years experiences in QA/QC and hydrotesting
- Good knowledge of piping systems and pressure testing
- Strong communication and leadership skills
