POSITION - PURCHASING EXECUTIVE
LOCATION - SHAH ALAM
SALARY - RM 3000-4000
Job Description :-
· To involve in supplier management that includes sourcing, selection, negotiation and obtain quotation for all material and equipment required by project sites
· To negotiate best pricing, monitors and assures continuous improvement of supplier performance
· To maintain proper records of purchases, quotations/sources, suppliers’ information and documentations
· Liaise and work closely with suppliers and other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies
· Interaction with Project Managers/Site Engineers/Site Supervisors on cost of equipment for their final cost and progress schedule management inclusive of documentation to be submitted to relevant parties
· To observe, track and give feedback to project sites for frequent order material without over supplying
· Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior and the management
Requirements :-
· Diploma/Degree in Purchasing or equivalent
· At least 2-3 years of working experience in the related field especially in Construction based company.
· Able to multi-task, work independently and a team player
· Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word & accounting software
· Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
