Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage high-value construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, solid construction knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Management
- Lead all aspects of project delivery including cost planning, consultant and contractor procurement, design coordination, construction management, and handover.
- Ensure project goals for quality, safety, timeline, and budget are consistently achieved.
- Develop detailed project plans, master schedules, and resource allocations.
- Implement effective governance, risk control, and reporting systems.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, and machinery to meet project needs.
- Manage the change control process and track financial impact.
- Support and mentor cross-functional project teams.
Communication & Reporting
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Prepare project documentation such as master schedules, progress reports, and tender evaluations.
- Lead client and consultant meetings; facilitate design and site coordination discussions.
- Conduct site inspections for quality control, safety, and progress monitoring.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of key project data and learning outcomes.
- Issue timely invoices and track project budgets using internal accounting systems.
Additional Duties
- Undertake other related responsibilities or tasks as assigned by senior management.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects end-to-end.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
- Solid understanding of local construction regulations, compliance, and safety standards.
- Proficient in project planning tools and reporting systems.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
