Job Summary
The Project Manager – Software Development is responsible for leading, planning, executing, and delivering software development projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with specifications. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project risks, and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction.
Job Scope
· Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
· Create detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and budgets.
· Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for flawless project execution.
· Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and ensure best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC).
· Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and goals.
· Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with stakeholders regarding project status, timelines, and deliverables.
· Ensure quality standards are met through effective testing, documentation, and version control.
· Facilitate collaboration between developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
· Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation.
· Conduct post-project reviews and drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Proven experience (3+ years) as a Project Manager in software development projects.
· Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
· Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project).
· Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
· Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
· PMP, PMI-ACP, or Scrum Master certification is a plus.

Pay: Up to RM8,500.00 per month
