The Opportunity
The School of Business at Monash University Malaysia invites applications for the position of Professor and Deputy Head of School (Research). This is a strategic academic leadership role, central to strengthening the School’s research performance, mentoring early- and mid-career academics, and enhancing the quality and scale of external research funding. The ideal candidate will be a scholar of international standing with a sustained record of high-impact research, successful grant acquisition, and demonstrated capability in leading multidisciplinary research teams.
This position supports the campus’s strategic aspiration to be Malaysia’s anchor institution in delivering research with real-world relevance and demonstrable community impact. The appointee will be expected to shape research directions that align with national priorities, foster collaborations that bridge academia and industry, and contribute to Monash’s role as a thought leader in advancing business and societal progress.
