We are looking for a Technician to join our dynamic production team in the construction materials industry - concrete, tiles and specialised goods. If you have strong hands-on skills, electrical troubleshooting experience, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and perform the assembly and setup of production line machinery.
- Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repair work on equipment, panels, and systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.
- Monitor production line efficiency and safety, making necessary real-time adjustments.
- Train and support production team.
- Maintain accurate logs of repairs, inspections, and part replacements.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations team to improve production systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- Experience manufacturing and experience in pneumatic systems, PLC automation, and concrete or powder processing operations.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in production line assembly or maintenance.
- Strong electrical diagnostic skills (PLC, sensors, motors, wiring).
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proactive, safety-conscious, and a good team player.
Advantageous if You Have:
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, TPM, or SCADA systems.
- OSHA or electrical safety certifications.
- Experience in the construction materials sector (precast, modular, or ready-mix).
