Job Title: Software Engineer – Infrastructure & Automation (Dotnet/DevOps)

Position Summary
Centific is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our Infrastructure & Automation team. This role is instrumental in supporting backend development and automation initiatives that enhance platform reliability, streamline patching workflows, and modernize tooling across distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and automation tools.
- Build and optimize system automation, patch deployment, and configuration management.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to support infrastructure upgrades and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation failures, patching errors, and system performance.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Contribute to onboarding and knowledge transfer for new team members.
Requirements
- University degree, in computer science or information technology field.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET development, DevOps environment.
- Experience with backend or integration tasks.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and patching.
- Familiarity with patch management tools and processes.
- Solid understanding of system administration (Windows/Linux) and deployment workflows.
- Effective problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in enterprise infrastructure automation and tooling.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of compliance and security considerations in patching and automation.
Soft Skills
