We are seeking an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee and optimize our organization’s procurement operations within the supply chain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate terms and contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues related to quality, delivery, and compliance.
- Analyze market trends and data to forecast procurement needs and manage inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies, ethical standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets, cost analysis reports, and savings initiatives.
- Leverage ERP systems and SQL system for process optimization and data management.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., planning, production, logistics) to understand procurement needs and align supply chain goals.
- Manage the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing.

- Malay: Professional proficiency (verbal and written) – essential for communication within local teams and suppliers.
- English: Full professional proficiency (verbal and written) – required for internal communication and coordination with global partners.
- OPTIONAL - : Mandarin: Conversational to professional proficiency – required for managing suppliers and business partners in Mandarin-speaking regions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are a plus.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, vendor management, and ERP systems & SQL system
