Plumber

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, sanitary, and heating systems.
• Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential risks, ensuring preventive action is taken.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest complaints related to plumbing.
• Carry out preventive maintenance schedules for pipes, fittings, pumps, valves, water heaters, and other plumbing equipment.
• Maintain swimming pool and water treatment systems where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, health, and safety regulations.
• Work closely with other maintenance staff to resolve issues efficiently with minimal disruption to guests.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare part usage.
• Report any major repair requirements or potential hazards to the Maintenance Manager.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist in other general maintenance duties when required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Plumber, preferably in a hotel, resort, or commercial property.
• Technical knowledge of water supply networks, sanitary systems, and heating systems.
• Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment effectively and safely.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
• Physically fit and able to work on-call shifts, weekends, or emergencies.
• Relevant certification in plumbing or related field preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
