Skills & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret 3D/Isometric/GA/structural drawings and blueprints for piping layouts and installation
- Conduct layout, cutting, threading, bending (flame or hydraulic), fitting, and assembly of piping systems
- Install, maintain, and repair pipelines using steel, stainless steel, alloy pipe (marine, offshore, industrial)
- Operate tools and machinery including threading machines, cutters, pipe benders, pressure testers and other hand/power tools
- Apply techniques such as deformation control, flame straightening, and tolerancing of piping alignment
- Perform pressure testing, leak testing, and safety inspections using pressure testing instruments
Job Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of pipe fitting experience, preferably in shipbuilding, offshore, oil & gas, or pressure vessels
- Skilled in pressure testing and deformation correction (e.g. flame straightening)
- Proven ability to work at heights and in physically demanding, construction/marine environments
- Strong safety mindset; experience with hot work permits, confined-space entry, and compliance with HSE standards
- Flexible and adaptable—willing to relocate or rotate between project sites as required
- Physically fit and able to meet health requirements
- Strong aptitude for reading technical drawings and specifications
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,900.00 per month
