Job Summary
We are looking for a PHP Developer to join our growing tech team. You will be involved in enhancing, maintaining, and supporting web applications that power Malaysia's trusted homegrown online marketplace. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient code that supports daily operations and new business features.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Development Support
- Develop and implement new features on the platform.
- Perform minor enhancements and functionality updates to existing modules.
- Assist in building robust front-end and back-end web solutions.
- Support deployment and release processes across staging and production environments.
Bug Fixing & Technical Support
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs or issues raised.
- Provide case-based technical support for internal teams and business users.
- Perform routine testing and debugging to ensure system stability.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct manual and automated tests to ensure application performance and usability.
- Identify bottlenecks or potential issues before they affect production.
- Document and report test findings clearly and constructively.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain clear records of development activities, bug resolutions, and test outcomes.
- Update the team regularly on progress, blockers, and deliverables.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work with designers, business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers to align solutions with business needs.
- Participate in agile-style stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
Continuous Learning
- Keep up with the latest development tools, trends, and technologies.
- Take initiative to improve coding quality and system performance.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including jQuery/AJAX).
- Familiarity with software development workflows, version control (Git), and debugging tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Eagerness to learn and grow as part of a dynamic eCommerce team.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
