Part-Time Content Creator (In-House Channels – Rush Media)
Job Brief:
We are seeking a creative and driven Part-Time Content Creator to join Rush Media’s in-house content team. You will be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality multimedia content across our in-house channels — including Rush Kini, Rush Daily, Racun Daily, and Rush Gizmo — to entertain, inform, and grow our audience. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about storytelling, digital media trends, and creating content that resonates with diverse audiences in Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Ideation & Scripting
- Brainstorm and develop creative content ideas aligned with each channel’s niche (news, lifestyle, tech, business, entertainment).
- Write engaging scripts and captions tailored for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Content Production
- Shoot and record video content in-studio or on-site, ensuring quality visuals and clear audio.
- Appear on-camera for selected content (optional based on channel needs).
- Editing & Post-Production
- Edit videos using basic to intermediate editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar).
- Add subtitles, graphics, and sound effects to optimize viewer engagement.
- Platform Management & Upload
- Schedule and upload content according to each channel’s posting calendar.
- Optimize titles, thumbnails, hashtags, and descriptions for better reach.
- Trend Research & Adaptation
- Monitor social media trends, viral formats, and audience preferences to create timely, relevant content.
- Adapt trending topics for each brand’s tone and audience.
- Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the in-house team (editors, graphic designers, writers) to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Attend weekly content planning meetings (physical or online).
Requirements:
- Passion for content creation, social media trends, and audience engagement.
- Basic to intermediate skills in video editing and shooting (phone or camera).
- Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube algorithms.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Melayu and/or English.
- Creative, resourceful, and able to work independently.
- Prior experience in content creation is a plus but not required.
Work Schedule & Benefits:
- Part-time basis: Approx. 15–20 hours per week (flexible schedule; may include weekends for event coverage).
