Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and fluent Chinese Content Creator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing engaging written, visual, and/or video content tailored for Chinese-speaking audiences across various platforms. You will work closely with our marketing, branding, and design teams to support campaigns, boost engagement, and grow our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Create high-quality, original content in Simplified/Traditional Chinese for websites, blogs, social media (WeChat, Xiaohongshu, Weibo, TikTok/抖音), email newsletters, and promotional materials.
Localize global content for Chinese-speaking markets to ensure cultural and linguistic relevance.
Write engaging copy for ads, landing pages, product descriptions, and video scripts.
Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and digital marketing teams to plan and execute content strategies.
Conduct market and keyword research to guide content development.
Monitor content performance metrics and optimize content based on engagement, SEO, and audience feedback.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in Chinese digital culture, content formats, and platforms.
Requirements:
Native or fluent proficiency in Chinese (Simplified or Traditional) and good command of English.
Proven experience in content creation, copywriting, or social media management for Chinese-speaking audiences.
Strong understanding of Chinese digital platforms (e.g., WeChat, Weibo, Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Bilibili).
Creativity and storytelling ability with a good sense of audience engagement.
Familiar with SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
Basic knowledge of design/video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Chinese Studies, or related field.
Experience in e-commerce, tech, lifestyle, gaming, or entertainment content.
Familiarity with AI tools, analytics dashboards, or CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
