This is a Finance Analyst position within Order Fulfillment & Supply Chain (OFS) Finance organization. The successful candidate will support a diverse business portfolio.
Key responsibilities:
Be the trusted financial consultant/adviser to OFS management team for assigned business portfolio. Provide financial decision support. Work in close partnership to achieve financial plans.
Lead annual financial planning process. Develop and present financial plan.
Handle month-end close activities and deliverables, including forecasts.
Prepare and present clear business performance analysis and narratives including bridging items.
Prepare and present financial analysis and modeling for strategic initiatives/projects to drive gross margin improvement. These include make vs buy and capital investments. Track and report results.
Determine manufacturing overhead rates. Partner with WW Cost Accounting on standards-setting matters.
Support inventory management with regards to inventory controls, quarterly Excess & Obsolescence reviews and inventory levels.
Support new production introduction projects. Provide financial analysis with regards to investments, inventory levels, product costs and gross margins.
Support manufacturing transfer activities and manage financials of transfer projects. This includes proforma cost bookings and post transfer cost compares.
Ensure that OFS financials are compliant.
Participate in OFS Finance projects.
Qualifications
Finance/Business Degree or professional Accounting qualification.
Typically, 8+ years relevant experience for entry to this level.
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills. Strong understanding of accounting and financial concepts.
Strong business acumen.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong team player. Ability to partner effectively across organizational levels, geographies and functions.
Experience in SAP, Essbase, cost accounting and a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
