Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shipping Coordinator to support our Shipping Team in shore-based coordination, communication, and administrative functions. This role holds full-spectrum responsibility for documentation accuracy, vessel operation support, logistics planning, and smooth coordination with internal teams and external service providers.
You will play a key role in materials arrangement, logistics efficiency, and minimising operational delays—contributing directly to the reliability and success of our maritime operations through structured support and timely execution.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Shipping Team, ensuring timely communication and coordination between shore and vessel teams.
- Manage and maintain accurate shipping documentation, records, and reports for operational efficiency.
- Liaise with internal departments and external service providers to facilitate smooth logistics and shore-based arrangements.
- Monitor and coordinate daily shipping schedules, crew logistics, and port-related tasks to minimise delays.
- Support procurement and inventory processes for vessel supplies and shore-related requirements.
- Track and follow up on pending items, ensuring timely completion of shipping-related tasks.
- Prepare and submit routine reports, updates, and correspondence related to shipping operations.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation systems for audit and reference purposes.
- Assist in handling ad hoc tasks and cross-functional support as required by the Shipping Team.
Job Requirements
- Degree / Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in the shipping, logistics, or maritime industry.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong computer literacy.
- Experience supporting shore-based operations or vessel coordination is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while being a reliable team player.
- Fresh graduates with strong administrative aptitude and willingness to learn will also be considered.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
