Description
- Shall advice prior to the commencement of the work familiarize itself with all relevant industry's health, safety and environment (HSE) legislation, regulations, guideline, code of practice and COMPANY's procedures.
- Shall review and ensure readiness of all HSE related document such as HSE policy, plan and procedure, all risk assessment includes HER (Health Effect Register), CRA (Construction Risk Assessment), JHA (Job Hazard Analysis) and etc.
- Shall make sure that the soil investigation CONTRACTOR to provide at its on expenses adequate first aid, firefighting, lifesaving and other safety equipment of approved types and maintain the integrity of the equipment professionally throughout the performance of the responsibilities.
- Shall make sure soil investigation CONTRACTOR to have in place, prior to commencement of the scope of work, a written safety Manual and emergency response plan duly endorsed by CONTRACTOR management and approved by COMPANY.
- To monitor soil investigation operation over HSE performance based on the COMPANY's specification and requirement and agreed schedule.
- Shall ensure that all works are performed in a safe, efficient and professional manner. Consultant shall control the safe execution of the scope of work using work permits. HSE consultant to assess and provide control to the potential risk that may arise during execution of the task-specific task.
- Shall prepare and conduct safety inspection of the work site and shall promptly confirm to all the recommendation made pursuant to said inspections.
- Shall inform COMPANY of any incident or accident immediately and to follow incident notification procedure by COMPANY for any event in accordance to the COMPANY accident reporting procedure.
- Shall ensure the HSE activities is carried-out to meet the objective of HSE plan
Requirement
- Minimum diploma holder
- Shall have experience five (5) to eight (8) projects in managing site HSE for offshore work
- Hold valid BOSEIT, Medical Certificate, AND PTW Level 3
- Attended the training for CSR Compact HSE Awareness Training; Management Of Change (MOC) Training; Marine For Non-Mariners (MFNM) Training; AND Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Awareness Training
- Shall registered as Site Safety Supervisor Department of Safety and Health (DOSH) Malaysia as required under Regulation 39 of Occupational Safety and Health (Construction Work) (Design and Management) Regulation 2024 OR Registered Safety Health Officer (SHO) Department of Safety and Health (DOSH)Malaysia as required under Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Officer) Regulations 1997.
