We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Artist (Artwork Designer) with experience in the printing and packaging offset industry. The role involves developing, modifying, and finalizing creative artwork for offset printing on various packaging materials, ensuring high quality and production accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and adapt artwork for offset-printed packaging such as cartons, boxes, labels, and wraps.
- Ensure all designs meet technical printing requirements, including bleed, die-lines, trapping, and color separation.
- Convert client concepts into print-ready artwork while maintaining brand consistency.
- Collaborate with the prepress and production teams to ensure accurate output for offset printing.
- Prepare and deliver high-resolution artwork files in the correct formats (PDF/X, AI, EPS, etc.).
- Conduct proof checks and color matching in coordination with the press team.
- Maintain a digital archive of all approved artwork and project files.
- Stay informed of new packaging design trends, materials, and offset printing technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in artwork design within the printing/packaging offset industry.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
- Strong understanding of offset printing processes, color separation, and Pantone color systems.
- Experience with packaging design, including working with die-cuts, CTP, and structural layout.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow printing technical specifications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with prepress operations and RIP software.
- Experience working with folding carton or corrugated packaging.
- Knowledge of imposition, trapping, and overprint settings.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
