1) Ensures SHE program and procedure implementation to comply with company safety and health requirements (licenses, registrations, permits, ISO9001, ISO14001 & OHSAS18001 management systems).
2) To assist overall operations & maintenance team to perform assessment at safety & health related matter. i.e SHE trainings, safety equipment maintenance, company safety rules, requlation implementation, COVID-19 rules and policy etc.
3) Conduct safety audits and on-site inspections to identify workplace hazards and unsafe equipment, working practices, or working conditions.
4) Investigate accidents, complete or verify accident reports, and liaise with technical specialists and external health and safety authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
5) Well versed in Occupational Safety and Health Act, Regulations, Orders, Code of practices, ISO and related.
6) Identify SHE Training needs, organize and co-ordinate SHE training course and prepare training material where appropriate.
7) Monitor and conduct safety inspection of the emergency equipment such as fire alarm system, fire hose reels, fire extinguisher, and first aid kits.
8) COVID-19 : monitor and ensure company overall preventive and protective measures are in place, including daily inspection at all sites to ensure all the employees are adhere to the SOP and all records (test kit, swab test result, vaccination status) are well maintained and properly keep.
9) To ensure Yearly Renewal of Company Machineries and/or Assets with relevant authorities.
Requirements:-
1) Certified SHE Officer preferably with DOSH (Green Book Holder) is an added advantage.
2) Possess Recognized University Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety and Health approved by DOSH or any equivalent qualifications.
3) At least 1 year of working experience in the related field in Manufacturer. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
4) Well versed in Occupational Safety and Health Act, Regulations, Orders, Code of practices, ISO and related;
5) Possess own transport.
6) Required language : English, Bahasa Melayu.
7) Experienced in Safety and 5S Management.
8) Well verse with the latest Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 as well as Factories and Machinery Act 1967.
9) Knowledge and understanding of Malaysian SHE laws and regulations including the relevant SHE management systems associated with the operation of a convention centre or similar organisation.
10) Required skill(s) : OSHA, DOSH.
