Key Responsibilities:
✅ Design and develop state-of-the-art backend services and APIs
✅ Integrate with front-end web and mobile applications using RESTful APIs
✅ Involved in the full development lifecycle - from conception to post-implementation support
✅ Deliver top-notch coding, testing, and documentation in line with user requirements
✅ Troubleshoot production incidents with the team, ensuring swift resolution
✅ Work closely with stakeholders and architects to provide tailored solutions
✅ Conduct peer reviews and collaborate with operations support teams
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of hands-on experience developing backend services using Node.js
- Familiar with modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Express.js, NestJS, Hono)
- Basic knowledge of client-side and server-side web technologies
- Some experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a high-paced environment
- Self-motivated, responsible, and a strong team player
- Good multitasking and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong English communication skills; knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese would be an advantage
- Willingness to travel as needed
