Job Purpose
The Mixing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the preparation, mixing, and batching of raw materials (fibers, dyes, chemicals, or other textile inputs) to ensure production consistency, quality, and efficiency. This role requires close monitoring of mixing operations, adherence to safety and quality standards, and supervision of the mixing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Production & Mixing Operations
- Supervise and coordinate daily mixing activities for raw materials, dyes, and chemicals.
- Ensure correct formulations and mixing ratios as per production requirements.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any breakdowns or abnormalities.
- Minimize wastage and ensure efficient use of raw materials.
- Quality Assurance & Control
- Ensure all mixtures comply with product specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct regular sampling and testing in coordination with the QA department.
- Identify and address quality deviations promptly.
- Team Supervision & Training
- Lead and supervise mixing operators and helpers.
- Provide training and guidance on SOPs, safety, and quality standards.
- Ensure proper shift handovers and workforce allocation.
- Safety & Compliance
- Enforce safety rules and proper handling of chemicals, dyes, and raw materials.
- Ensure mixing area cleanliness, housekeeping, and proper labeling of chemicals.
- Comply with ISO, OSHA, and company safety regulations.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of raw material usage, mixing logs, and daily reports.
- Report production output, downtime, and quality issues to management.
- Assist in stock control of raw materials.
Key Requirements
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Textile Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years in textile/chemical mixing or related production supervision.
- Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong knowledge of textile raw materials, dyeing, and mixing processes.
- Ability to read and follow mixing formulas and technical instructions.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Other: Safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and able to work in shifts.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
