URGENT JOB VACANCY !
Job location in Confinement Centre (Seremban 2)

Key Job Responsibilities

1. Antenatal Care (Before Birth)

• Conduct routine check-ups for pregnant women.
• Provide advice on nutrition, health, and exercise during pregnancy.
• Identify high-risk pregnancies and refer to doctors as needed.

2. Intrapartum Care (During Labour and Delivery)

• Assist and manage normal childbirth.
• Monitor the condition of both mother and baby during labour.
• Provide emotional and physical support throughout delivery.
• Handle minor complications and recognize emergency signs for referral.

3. Postnatal Care (After Birth)

• Monitor the recovery of the mother after childbirth.
• Advise on breastfeeding, baby care, and family planning.
• Conduct postnatal home visits and monitor infant development.

4. Health Education & Counseling

• Educate parents on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care.
• Provide support and counseling on reproductive health issues.

5. Records & Documentation

• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Fill in birth reports, antenatal/postnatal records, and other clinical documentation.

6. Teamwork & Collaboration

• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Participate in clinical meetings or internal training when required.

7. Equipment & Hygiene Management

• Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of delivery instruments.
• Follow proper infection control procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Midwifery from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered and licensed with the Malaysian Nursing Board (LJM) or equivalent.
• Prior experience in maternal care is an added advantage.

• Willing to work on shifts, including nights and weekends.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
