The Opportunity
To drive our ambitious expansion, we need skilled, independent trainers to form the backbone of our new operations. We are seeking an experienced Vocational Training Officer (VTO) to deliver exceptional training at our Shah Alam campus, with opportunities for deployment to our new centres in East Malaysia or abroad. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
● Independently planning, developing, and delivering engaging training in Automation, Robotics, or Mechatronics, in line with NOSS standards.
● Designing and implementing robust assessment methods to evaluate trainee competency for local and international certification.
● Contributing to the development of new training programs required for our expansion markets.
● Managing all aspects of your training sessions, including safety, resource management, and documentation.
● Potentially participating in short-term or long-term assignments to establish and run training programs in East Malaysia or overseas.
What You Bring to The Table:
● A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
● A mandatory Vocational Training Officer (VTO) Certificate.
● A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a technical trainer, preferably in industrial automation or robotics.
● In-depth knowledge of curriculum development, NOSS, and competency-based training.
● Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse cultural environments.
