Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MicroStation Electrical Drafter to join our engineering and design team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in preparing accurate electrical drawings using MicroStation for infrastructure, rail, or building projects. You will work closely with engineers, BIM coordinators, and project managers to support the delivery of high-quality design documentation in line with project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and modify electrical design drawings using MicroStation in compliance with project and client requirements.
- Produce layouts, wiring diagrams, schematics, cable schedules, and single-line diagrams for electrical systems.
- Coordinate and integrate design inputs from electrical engineers and other disciplines.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of electrical drawings according to project standards (e.g., LTA, BCA, or international codes).
- Maintain up-to-date drawing records and support drawing control/documentation processes.
- Assist in clash detection and resolution when working in multidisciplinary environments.
- Participate in design review meetings and contribute to technical discussions as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in MicroStation is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electrical drafting for infrastructure, M&E, or rail projects.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and electrical design standards (especially in Singapore) is a plus.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Having a positive attitude and proactive mindset.
- Adaptable to working both independently and as a team player, with the ability to work under pressure and meet submission deadlines.
- Able to work on Singapore Project and able to commute daily.
Working Hours: 8am to 6pm
