Job Title: Mechanical Technician (Facilities Management)

Location of Project: Bukit Aman, Kuala Lumpur
Employment Type: Contract (until completion of project)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Mechanical Technician who is esponsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment across various industries. The role involves reading technical drawings, troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting routine maintenance, and ensuring machines operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, engines, conveyors).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Replace or repair faulty parts.
• Install mechanical equipment and machinery.
• Calibrate and test machines to ensure proper function.
• Use blueprints, schematics, and manuals to understand mechanical systems.
• Conduct tests to ensure mechanical systems meet specifications.
• Record performance data and diagnose issues.
• Operate tools (e.g., lathes, milling machines) to make or modify parts.
• Assemble parts and systems according to specifications.
• Follow safety regulations and industry standards.
• Ensure work complies with company policies and technical standards.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related field.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Hands-on skills in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with safety standards and procedures
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call (if required)

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
